GCC — Nursing
Bahrain licenses internationally trained nurses through the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA). The Bahrain Nursing Licensure Examination (commonly known as the BNLE) is a computer-based test delivered by Prometric. Bahrain is known for having some of the lowest government licensing fees in the Gulf, transparent regulatory documents published in English, and a flexibility in accepting both DataFlow and QuadraBay for credential verification (though other Gulf countries, such as Qatar, have also adopted this dual-provider model). The NHRA also publishes one of the most complete sets of nursing regulatory documents in the region, making the pathway clear and well-supported for international applicants.
