Jordan
Jordan offers two main routes. The Al-Fahis Al-Ijmali (الفحص الإجمالي) — the Comprehensive Examination — is the national licensing exam for entry into practice. Postgraduate specialty training runs through the Jordanian Board or the Arab Board. Both are open to non-Jordanian doctors.
Many international medical graduates come to Jordan to complete residency through the Jordanian Board, administered by the Jordan Medical Council.

A route that skips the Board entirely
This may matter more to some specialists than anything else on these pages.
Under a 2022 amendment to Jordan's medical practice law, foreign specialists in designated rare or critical fields — intensive care is the example given — may practise in Jordan on a work permit without holding the Jordanian Board certificate at all.
This comes from a public statement by the Jordan Medical Council's Secretary-General rather than from a published bylaw, so treat it as reported rather than confirmed. But if you are a scarce specialist, ask before committing four or five years to a residency.
