Qatar
Qatar offers two distinct routes. For residency, Hamad Medical Corporation and Sidra Medicine accept USMLE Step 2 CK, IFOM CSE or MCCQE, apply directly rather than through a national match, and charge no application fee. For practice, the Department of Healthcare Professions (DHP) licenses General Practitioners and classifies specialists through Prometric examinations under sponsor code SCHQ2.

Language requirements
Most authorities ask for an English test. Germany asks for German.
A note on naming. Qatar's regulator has been renamed twice: the Medical Licensing Department became the Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP) in 2013, and QCHP became the Department of Healthcare Professions (DHP) by Emiri Decree 14 of 2019. DHP is the current name. Older documents, agency websites and some Qatari hospital pages still say QCHP; they mean the same authority.

Doha is an official Arab Board examination centre. Recognition is not an exam exemption — specialist classification is assessed case by case.
