Bahrain
Bahrain is one of the more manageable places in the Gulf to get licensed, backed by an organized regulator, a genuinely English-speaking hospital environment, and some of the lowest annual licence fees in the region — 50 to 90 Bahraini Dinars depending on grade. Connected to Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province via the King Fahd Causeway, it is a popular base for doctors working across the Gulf.
The National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA), established under Law No. 38 of 2009, oversees licensing.

Language requirements
Most authorities ask for an English test. Germany asks for German.
Two exams, two names. NHRA runs the Bahrain Medical Licensure Examination (BLE), which every physician must pass to obtain a professional licence, and the NHRA Specialist Examination (NSE), which Tier 3 qualification holders must pass if their training was done outside Bahrain. Candidates and prep providers commonly call the first the "BMLE"; the regulator does not.

Bahrain has no national specialty board of its own. If you are training to become a specialist in Bahrain, you train and certify through the Arab Board.
Before anything else, find out which tier your qualification falls into. In Bahrain that single fact decides how many years of experience you need, whether you must sit the specialist examination at all, and whether you can ever hold the Consultant title. It is set out on the BLE page.

The Arab Board in Bahrain

Arab Board training is the main residency pathway, running through the Supreme Council of Health and the Bahrain Council for Health Studies and Specialties. Manama is an official Arab Board examination centre.
