Bahrain — Obstetrics & Gynaecology
Two Routes, and Which One Applies to You
Bahrain specialist licensing and Bahrain specialist training are separate processes.
Specialist licensing — the NHRA Specialist Examination (NSE). Required of Tier 3 qualification holders whose training was done outside Bahrain. Tier 1 and Tier 2 holders are exempt. Check the tier tables on the BLE page before assuming you must sit it. This is the examination the question bank on this page prepares you for.
Specialist training — the Arab Board. Bahrain has no national specialty board. Bahrain specialist training follows the Arab Board. Study material is the Arab Board Qbank.

The format is not fixed. It may be an electronic exam, a written exam, short cases, or an interview. Prepare for clinical assessment as well as MCQs, and ask NHRA what format applies to your specialty and sitting.
