Qatar for Dentists
Qatar offers a single, unified licensing pathway for internationally trained dentists through the National General Dental Qualifying Examination (NGDQE), administered by the Department of Healthcare Professions (DHP) under the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH). Unlike the UAE, which has three separate licensing bodies, Qatar has one national licence valid across the entire country. The process runs through DataFlow or QuadraBay primary source verification, DHP’s registration and licensing portal, and Prometric for exam delivery. There is no confirmed universal English language test requirement for NGDQE candidates; DHP requires only that the applicant be reasonably fluent in Arabic or English or both.
