Canada for Dentists
Canada offers a national, exam-based route for internationally trained general dentists through the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) Equivalency Process. There is no mandatory Canadian dental degree or bridging programme. The process has three sequential examination stages: AFK, ACJ, and NDECC. After passing all stages, candidates receive an NDEB Certificate and then apply separately to a provincial dental regulatory authority for a licence to practise. NDEB does not require Canadian citizenship or permanent residence to sit its exams.
