GCC — Middle East — Dentistry
Kuwait for Dentists
Kuwait licenses dentists through the Ministry of Health (MOH). The Kuwait Dental Licensing Examination (KDLE) is the general licensing exam, but its current official format has not been published. A separate 2027 government-sector appointment rule (Resolution 75/2026) will require KDLE for newly graduated dentists entering certain hospital posts. For internationally trained dentists seeking private-sector practice, the Ministry of Health’s existing licensing procedure applies, and an electronic competency test may be required. Employer sponsorship is generally part of the licensing process.
