BPLE — Bahrain Pharmacy Licensure Examination
The Bahrain Pharmacy Licensure Examination (BPLE) is the National Health Regulatory Authority exam for pharmacist licensure in the Kingdom of Bahrain. It is a Prometric computer-based test. Credential verification is commonly completed through DataFlow or QuadraBay, and licensing applications are filed through NHRA’s Mehan (or successor) portal. Always match the PQR pharmacist category to your degree and experience.

Eligibility
NHRA’s professional qualification requirements define pharmacist versus pharmacy technician. You typically need a recognised bachelor of pharmacy or PharmD and the experience listed for that grade. Confirm the current PQR PDF on the NHRA website before you apply.
Credential Verification
Bahrain accepts DataFlow and, in many allied pathways, QuadraBay. Use the vendor NHRA names for pharmacists in the current circular. Degree, licence, and experience must verify cleanly.
BPLE Exam Details
The BPLE is a Prometric CBT covering pharmaceutical sciences, clinical pharmacy, calculations, and Bahrain/NHRA professional standards as listed for the pharmacist exam code. Confirm duration, item count, and pass score on Prometric’s NHRA list.

After the BPLE
A pass allows NHRA to issue a professional licence linked to a licensed pharmacy or health facility. Independent practice without a facility licence is not the NHRA model for most pharmacist grades.
