Route Overview
Royal College membership examinations are not licensing examinations. They are postgraduate qualifications that support UK training progression and, through the Portfolio Pathway, specialist registration. They are also widely recognised across the Gulf.

| Attempts | RCPCH publishes no blanket six-attempt maximum. Its published rule is that UK trainees sitting the Clinical exam a sixth or later time must contact the Clinical Examinations team |
