Specialty Licensing Pathway

The official Ministry of Health and Prometric blueprint contains standalone specialist examinations for six named specialties, and no Pediatrics examination. Pediatrics content appears only as a 37-item subsection within the General Practitioner examination.

Until the pathway is confirmed by the Kuwait Ministry of Health, internationally trained Pediatrics specialists should contact the Ministry directly.

KIMS Residency Route

Programme duration is not independently confirmed. A five-year programme with four years of core training and a fifth flexible year is described on kuwaitpediatrics.org, which was not reachable at the time of writing.
