SCFHS — Pediatrics

Pediatric specialists qualify through the SCFHS Specialist Prometric Examination — a 150-MCQ test covering general pediatrics, neonatology, and growth and development. The Saudi Board residency lasts 4 years, with residents completing a Part 1 exam, a final written assessment, and a final clinical exam combining OSCE and SOE stations.

Pathway Snapshot

The specialist route is a single Prometric exam after DataFlow and Mumaris Plus processing. Saudi Board trainees complete three stages over 4 years: Part 1, final written, and final clinical with OSCE and SOE stations.

Complete Journey (Specialist Route): Medical Graduation → DataFlow Verification → Mumaris Plus → SCFHS Pediatrics Specialist Exam → Specialist Classification → Practice in Saudi Arabia.

Complete Journey (Saudi Board): Medical Graduation → Saudi Board Residency (4 years) → Part 1 Exam → Final Written → Final Clinical (OSCE + SOE) → SCFHS Certification → Independent Specialist Practice and future eligibility for Consultant classification according to SCFHS regulations.
